Evermind: Loch Vostok – Expiry Date of the Soul of Man

I’m surprised I never hear of this band because it’s definitely my style. You compared them to Wolverine and Katatonia. To be honest, I don’t hear a lot of Katatonia but it definitely sounds similar to Katatonia and there’s some of Dark Tranquillity. DT is most of the time faster and has growls in many if not all songs but there’s this gothic feeling, chugging of low tuned guitars and, of course, melancholy. Singer’s voice reminds me of  Chris Cornell a lot, that’s probably the reason I like it even more. Even though it’s not the most original song I don’t have anything bad to say about it and it’s my favourite of the round.

Nothing released. I'd have to check if I have a boot from that tour. Pretty sure Mark Nauseef was playing drums for this tour as well.

He ended up playing keys after a bit, as they got some other dude to play guitar.

Ultimately Snowy White (last seen playing in Roger Waters' band) joined for the Chinatown and Renegade albums.
