Well, here's your first impressions. It's pretty obvious which one goes to what, but hey, keep with tradition, right?


My enjoyment fluctuated on a song-per-song basis. Some of them sounded pretty cool, while others put me to sleep.

This was a bit hard to get through, not gonna lie. I like how many influences it has, but the resulting sound feels abrasive and messy.

Some parts were enjoyable, but a lot of it blended together and I’m having difficulty seeing what sets this band apart from all the others like them.


Mixed feelings across the board, awww yeeeah.

I think the first one is Hooverphonic because of how chill they are but I haven't heard the whole album so I'm not 100% confident there.

Third one is probably Cyril's because big noise is always his mood and 'blended together' sounds like that.

That leaves the second one for me, which uhhh oh boy sorry I sent you that

EDIT: WAIT! Abrasive sounds more like Cyril's style than mine. I wouldn't call Voyager abrasive, quite the opposite actually. Either way not good

it's a grower of an album though, tbh, i still keep finding new things about it that i like on relistens months later haha

like i have a link in my sig but i put together a list of my favorite stuff from last year and like almost all of them i'd consider 4.5* (9/10) albums (though no 10/10's - which, for the record, I have bumped Folie up to recently  )
