A lot of great stuff posted earlier in this thread. Drain S.T.H. especially is too often forgotten about, probably my favorite Alice In Chains-derived band. Oceans of Slumber, Draconian, and Triosphere are spectacular and not heralded enough of ones already mentioned. I'm also a big fan of Delain, The Gathering, Anathema, and numerous others mentioned.
It's nice to see Red Handed Denial posted in the OP, they don't get nearly as much attention as they should. I disagree that Lauren doesn't "waste" time sounding pretty though, that's just as much a part of her toolkit as harsh vocals are, as evidenced by a song like this. I have a harder time getting into a lot of male metalcore-inspired vocalists because their clean vocals are so often nasal and whiny, so she's refreshing in finding a more pleasant middle timbre.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxQgskAEQH8A similar vocalist to Lauren is Aleksandra Djelmas of Destiny Potato/Sordid Pink/Djelmash. She doesn't incorporate harsh vocals nearly as much as Lauren, but in the more limited moments when she does it's glorious.

Her husband/the drummer Ivar de Graaf was originally in Within Temptation, but left to focus on proggier, folkier material, which resulted in one of my favorite groups.
