Sent some bad ass bass!
Did you catch them yourself?

I'm baffled how Google Images suggested "bass fish with sunglasses". Pic from Penn State Bass Fishing FB account, whoever they are.

I sent my most obvious submission of the entire roulette

Maybe it isn't so obvious anymore but still kinda feels like it is

parama sent east of the wall/brand new/pain of salvation/ummm

or do I call you Cyril now? I'm too invested in the Parama brand

Parama sent something from East of the Wall's Apologist. Perhaps False Build or The Apologist...

Ask your doctor before taking Cyrama. Side effects include checking out music nobody else on Earth has heard of.

Thanks to Elite for sending See Hell in my roulette. :). That song was pretty much the round winner as soon as I heard it.

I haven't heard that one. I only have the one album that See Hell is on - Destrier.  It's a great album but I don't know if it would be your thing or not. But I definitely recommend giving See Hell a listen.

Lethean, check out the song A Long Time Listening. Elite (I think) sent me both that and See Hell in my roulette and it was really good, but it's not on Destrier.

Maybe I'm not listening to the right Leprous; I play Coal more than anything so that could be why I'm not hearing it.  :lol

9 points: TAC
Seven Sisters – Seven Sisters

The world needs more music like this. The vocalist doesn’t really have the kind of power this kind of music demands though.

These guys know their 80s Iron Maiden. The intro bears resemblance to Children of the Damned. If you’ve played me this without context, I might have been fooled to think this was an actual 80s metal band, although the ridiculously reverbed lead guitar sound doesn’t really belong to that time period. The guitarists are pretty damn great. The vocalist isn’t that great honestly, but he’s trying. The youthful enthusiasm shines through and there’s loads of great riffs and melodies. If these guys find their Dickinson or Halford, they’ll be going to places.

Ruba, I'm so glad you liked this. I close my eyes and this puts me back in the early 80's. This album is like a cross between Iron Maiden's and Def Leppard's debuts. The youngish vocals remind me a lot of Joe Elliot on On Through The Night. That's why I don't mind them.

Nah - it's a great song. :)

However, I think I just sent the best song of the roulette for round 6. :P

I've listened to See Hell probably eight times in space of 24 hours. I can't remember the last time I was stoked about one song this much. I also tried playing it on guitar, but I didn't nail the rhythm in verses yet.

It's bit like poppier Leprous except it works (I'm looking at you, From the Flame :P).

I admit I've grouped Def Leppard with all the 80s hair metal and thus ignored them (although they're one of the better bands in that genre). I'm listening to their debut right now though and Joe sounds good to me.

I fell in love with Iron Maiden when I was twelve and they were my favourite band for over five years. If you can actually sound like them without any irony and still attain some originality, you damn sure gain some points from me.
