not actually what i thought i'd be sending but i realized right before sending i had an even better pick for this round than my first choice
but the song i wanted to send is too good to use as a b-side
anyways y'all are playing for 9 points or lower this round :neverusethis: gets dead last

i've only heard of one of the above artists and they were one of my least favorite submissions of my album roulette, nice  :corn

I love Blue Wide Open and really like Nine Crimes too, still remember the melody from it after someone sent it to me in 2016. I guess I'm glad I'm not in this roulette. :lol

Sent something from one of the coolest albums of the last couple of years. Frankly, I've been afraid to use it in a roulette, even though I've been dying to. But I'm probably getting eliminated after this round, so here it is!!!!!

Like I said, I wasn't completely turned off to Sieges Even, there were some moments of brilliance but the whole song was missing something that pulls the individual parts together.

Great alt rock/grunge vibe. Simple but effective guitar lines.

Yes, apparently they are a prog metal band but this song has 90s alt rock written all over it. The vocal hook is very much Alice in Chains. A beautiful acoustic ballad. The vocals are good, although he sounds somewhat uncomfortable in his higher range, 2:55 has me cringing. They seem to be seriously unsung, the video you linked me is over seven years old and has around 500 views. A real shame if you ask me.


They're not really a prog metal band, I don't think.  Except for the drumming in some cases maybe.  I think they just got labeled that because 2 of them were in Threshold and they were on Inside Out.  You might like both of their albums though.

I'm guessing Parama sent Being Human since he guessed Battle Creek, and also because he sent me the album both those songs are from, in my album roulette from last spring. Not typically something I reach for, but it has lots of good stuff imo. Curious to read the results on those.
