Just noticed that, sorry man.

Well, you got three more correct and you were right about the Amorphis, I had accidentally one letter too many.

No worries man. Try the remaining two if you want, although those might be a tad harder.  ;D As a hint, one of the artists has a punctuation mark in its name.

Also thrice was on my shortlist but I actually didn't consider that song for some reason
Which is a shame since it probably is their best opener

I'm not playing but I'm trying my best to solve that one before any more letters are revealed. :lol

edit: Yeah, I already figured it was "of the spirits", but the rest evades me.

Yep, I don't know and I've got to write my own writeups now. The Frail Penguin - Twathorse of the Spirits

I wish!

Also, had one extra letter there again. Man, I gotta be sharper with these in the future.

Threshold is Lethean, or I'll cook steamed hams

Did Train send Orphaned Land? Did Sacul sent PoTree?

First impressions come tomorrow in the afternoon Greenwich/morning U.S. East Coast time.

SURPRISE! :neverusethis: I made some time for this tonight.

A good track, but I’m not sure if it’s that memorable in long term. I’m not sold yet on the vocals.

I’ve heard one album from this band and I didn’t like it, but that was a long time ago. Great riff here, but do heavier parts really mesh with rest of the song?

Didn’t expect to receive anything like this. I like the quirkiness of it.

My hatred towards the person behind this band makes it hard for me to be impartial. It’s decent, but the chorus is repeated one or two times too many.

This sounds like a band I might be interested in, but this particular song didn’t really do anything to me.

While I generally like this, it could use a vocalist with a bit more powerful voice. They get more into the spirit of things towards the end though.

Up-tempo and in-your-face, I quite like this.

This is dancing on the line of getting overly proggy for my tastes, but thankfully never crosses it.

The band is definitely talented, and I can appreciate that, but this just isn’t really my thing.

Had to dust off the ol’ air guitar for this one. Great blend of heavy and melodic. This band I could’ve banned and will definitely ban after this round.

Results coming within a week.

TAC sent Hole.

About a half hour after I sent it, I thought of a song I should've sent instead, but I was stuck on finding a 90's album.

I actually love Live Through This.

Yes, Courtney Love is a fucking whore face hot mess, but that album is fucking amazing.

Wasn't the rumor that Cobain wrote a lot of it?   I can't imagine that's true if it's such a great album, but it's out there.
