Haha amazing! It’s funny to me because rather than just messing around, he’s clearly trying to make that kit sound good.

That radio host on the other hand...

Whatever intern they got to build that kit knew enough to have the bucket toms radiate out from the center. He's my star of that video.

Best video I've watched in the whole week :lol And he actually makes those buckets sound good!

Still waiting for the "those buckets sound better than the drums on the self titled" comments, tho.
It sounds like, "ruk, ruk, ruk, ruk, ruk." Instead of the more pleasing kick drum sound of, "gzarruk, gzarruk, gzarruk, gzarruk."

Here we see an extremely rare Mangini in its natural environment
So fking tired of being an oversensitive naive moronic fkin bitch. I CANT STOP IT. I CANT CHANGE. IM STUCK. This world eats me alive. My purpose is simply to be what others shouldn't be. A shriveled fking beacon of sad energy. I have lost. I am lost.

I guess he can tick that off his bucket list!
As a basic rule, if you hate it, you must solely blame Portnoy. If it's good, then you must downplay MP's contribution to the band as not being important anyway, or claim he's just lying. It's the DTF way.

I feel like there's a trash pun in there somewhere but for the life of me I can't throw it out.

MM just oozes talent!

Before the Baltimore TA show in 2016 (I think), my wife and I where having ice cream at a shop in the Inner Harbor and a guy set up his kit (looked a lot like MM's in the vid) and proceeded to blow everyone's mind!  I had a vid of it on my old phone... wish I could find it.
"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter; Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man."  Ecclesiastes 12:13

Now with Twitler taking a high end steak of this caliber and insulting the cow that died for it by having it well done just shows zero respect for the product, which falls right in line with the amount of respect he shows for pretty much everything else.- Lonestar

Finally heard the interview, very entertaining. MM is such a funny and interesting guy, I laughed when they were talking about him messaging the host of the radio show very late at night. And yeah, it sounds like he and JM have a connection!

They also enjoy playing golf every once in a while. A band’s bassist and drummer should always be best friends, rhythm section rules
