Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Sowing the Seeds of Love: 1
The End of the Innocence: 3
Eternal Flame: 5 (yep)
Total 9

Handle With Care: 3
Desire: 3
Epic: 1
Total 7

I Won't Back Down: 2
Love Shack: Negative Infinity
The Living Years: 1
Cannot calculate

Stand 3 (1 now, loved it at the time, averages out to a 3)
Patience 4
We Didn't Start the Fire 0
Total: 5

Cult of Personalit: 1
Tall Cool One: 3
Dr. Feelgood: 3
Total: 7

Probably the first round where I was highly familiar with each song. But in real time only liked a couple a lot, and can't say I wouldn't change the station if any of them came across the dial today.

And Suzanna Hoffs again. Yeah.

There are a lot of bad songs in these groupings.

Not really a bad song in the list. My least favorite is probably the Plant track, but I still went with 5 due to the power of the 2 songs flanking it.
beul ni teh efac = Lube In The Face / That has to be wrong.  :lol / EDIT: Oh, it's Blue! I'm an idiot.
Pardon the interruption, but I just had to run in and celebrate the majesty of Lube in the Face as highest moment in roulette history

There's a lot of substandard offerings here.   Ugh.

Probably 4 or 5.  Reluctantly.

Stand (R.E.M.):  Average to below-average song from a very good to excellent band
Patience (Guns N' Roses):  A very good, but not indicative, song from a very good to excellent band
We Didn't Start the Fire (Billy Joel):  A novelty hit single from a legendary, iconic performer
Cult of Personality (Living Colour):  The one hit from a band that is excellent, but essentially a one-hit wonder
Tall Cool One (Robert Plant): A polarizing song from a polarizing album by a flat-out legend
Dr. Feelgood (Motley Crue): A very good to excellent song by an average band

Option 1

LOTS of junk in this one.

Category 1:  Sowing the Seeds of Love - 2.5; The End of the Innocence - 3.5; Eternal Flame - 2.5.  TOTAL - 8.5.

Category 2:  I don't know the Wilburys song by name, but the other two are garbage, so it's not worth investigating.

Category 3:  I Won't Back Down - 1.5; Love Shack - 3.5; The Living Years - 3.  TOTAL - 8.

Category 4:  Stand - 2.5; Patience - 0; We Didn't Start the Fire - 1.  TOTAL - 3.5.

Category 5:  Cult of Personality - 4; Tall Cool One* - 1.5; Dr. Feelgood - 2.5.  TOTAL - 8.

* - I didn't recognize this by name, so I played it on YouTube, and the best part was the Jennifer Garner ad that ran before the video.

Upon reflection, that is not a fair score, as that band has another song far worse than Love Shack. Everybody had matching fucking towels. That might be the worst lyric in pop history.
