Breaking All Illusions has some amazing moments and some that don't work, Lines in the Sand is amazing throughout.

Love Breaking All Illusions.   Lines in the Sand never really worked.

I suspect this song in particular may have been one of the "raspberry seeds in the dentures" of the relationship between MP and JLB.   Because I recall MP saying he wanted JLB to "sing it like Doug Pinnick", and JLB couldn't give him a take he was happy with.....so he just called Doug to do it.    This is a gross oversimplification...but not altogether inaccurate.  I never liked that chorus anyway.  The rest of the song is fine.

Anyway.  BAI

BAI - best song since Octavarium. I love LitS too, but it's not even the best on FII.

Easily BAI. I've never been a fan of LitS.

Breaking All Illusions as soon as I read those two titles. Easy choice.
I use my sig to pimp some bands from Italy! Check out Elvenking (Power / Folk metal), Folkstone (Rock / Medieval metal), Arcana Opera (Gothic/Noir/Heavy metal) and the beautiful voice of Elisa!

Damn this is really tough, BAI is a more epic song but LITS is so groovey and fun.  I went with LITS but I could have easily said BAI.  Really splitting hairs here.

BAI.  Not close.

BAI is no worse than a top 3 song of the MM era.

LITS is a "just ok" song on a bottom 3 DT album.

Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

BAI definitively.

Breaking All Illusions as soon as I read those two titles. Easy choice.

My thoughts exactly.  Not to say that LITS isn't good.  Actually it's great.

This one is easy for me.

Love BAI, LitS never hooked me...like...at all.  The verses are forgettable to me and the chorus is the strangest, least catchy things I have ever heard in my life.  One of my least favorite DT songs.

Most popular DT songs, if I don't like it, I can at least get ebhind why a lot of people do, I can at least hear the thing that everybody likes, even if it doesn't personally hook me.  But with LitS...I don't get it.  At all.

I hate voting against Lines in the Sand, but Breaking All Illusions is a masterpiece.
