I voted for Natural Science. That said, this is an amazing album, and while it's overplayed to the hilt, The Spirit Of Radio is incredible.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

I went with The Spirit of Radio, mainly because I'm a newer Rush fan (only been a fan for about a year and a half) and it's one song that despite being overplayed to hell and back, is overplayed for damn good reason - it's awesome. Whole album is excellent however, and Natural Science comes close.
From a Mega Man Legends island jamming power metal to a Walrus listening to black metal, I like your story arc.

Natural Science,   but Spirit of Radio and Freewill are right up there with it!  The whole album is excellent though..  :tup

I’m going with Jacob’s Ladder.  The whole album is great, but I really dig that one the most.

Jacob's Ladder, but Natural Science is close behind it. I love JL so much that I learned it on drums, which I haven't done for NS. It's a challenging song to play and get right, especially the 13/8 stuff at the end, but when you DO get it right, it's so satisfying!

Same.

This is a stellar album from front to back. Only complaint is the horrible fade out in Different Strings. Should have let Alex finish his solo, do one more pass of the chorus and end like that. I'll never understand the decision they made there.

NS or JL, maybe 1 and 1a. Have not listened to this album in a long time. Good chance to revisit.

Jacob's ladder, although The Spirit of radio and Natural science come extremely close. Honestly, there's never been a closer poll, since all three songs are top 5 Rush tunes for me.

Natural Science gets this one, although all the other tracks are also great! Natural Science is also my favorite Rush epic.

I voted Jacob's Ladder, but I'm way out of step with the group on this album.

My order of the songs:
Jacob's Ladder
Entre Nous
Difference Strings
Freewill
The Spirit of Radio
Natural Science

1. Natural Science
2. Jacob's Ladder
3. Freewill
4. The Spirit of Radio
5. Entre Nous
6. Different Strings

Not a bad track on the album, and a lot of the margins between songs are almost non-existent.

It's the least memorable song on the album. It's not bad or filler, it's just an OK ballad, nothing special.

I love that song.   It's not Jacob's Ladder, but it's better than Natural Science (in my view).

Easily chose Natural Science - my favorite Rush song. Especially love the version on Different Stages with the 12-string(?) version of the intro.

So you're fixing the poll, are ya?!?
As a basic rule, if you hate it, you must solely blame Portnoy. If it's good, then you must downplay MP's contribution to the band as not being important anyway, or claim he's just lying. It's the DTF way.

I dig it too, but not in a million years would I rank Different Strings as the best song on the album.  As I said, there's not a bad track on this album, and DS is the simply the least of six great songs.

Listened to this album yesterday on the road. Feelings were about as I remembered. There is a small part in the middle of JL that keeps it from being a top 3 Rush song for me. Otherwise I still go with NS and JL as 1 and 1a. EN was slightly better than I remembered. Freewill suffers from me hearing it too often, Spirit of Radio however does not.
