Hef is right on all things. Except for when I disagree with him. In which case he's probably still right.

This was a great show. I thought JL was well rested and sounded pretty good all night. The visuals with SFAM were pretty cool. Overall, very glad I went!

It was indeed an awesome show!  My wife told me last night that she's having DT withdrawal (dts  :lol) and we need to go see them again NOW!  She's been singing Strange Deja Vu constantly since we got home.

Sorry about missing the meet up with Hat Killer and Reaper... and the obligatory middle finger pic!  Next meet up is on me... hopefully the next NA Leg will come back through Charlotte, Asheville, or Raleigh and we can cook something up.

Hef, it was good to see you again my friend!  Sorry we didn't get to talk longer!

Pics are forthcoming... I was limited to the first 15-minutes of the show (no big deal as I believe that's normal) and also not allowed to shoot upfront (bigger deal because I only had a 50MM with me which was a rookie mistake on my part; I ass u me d that I'd get to shoot upfront)... but I got some cool shots and I"ll get them up here as soon as I'm finished with them.   My escort throughout the process was a very cool cat who was enjoying the show and all of the auditorium staff was awesome to work with (with the slight exception of Angry White Boy Security Joe who I'll get to in a second)!

Props to Bosk for working out the last minute logistics for me... we've got some truly awesome people on this forum and we should never forget it!

So on to Angry White Boy Security Joe (Hef this the same guy who told us to move on and grouped everyone together for the back-stage access after the show)...  my wife and I are at Will-Call waiting on the media pass and we were privy to the Security briefing pre-show and before the venue opened it's doors.  AWBSJ proceeded to brief the staff on the coming nights "demographic" which I'm sure is a normal part of his job... the fan base was described as "Middle Aged, mostly white, mostly male, thinning hair, headbangers who will cause little trouble other than air guitar playing and air drum playing... ignore them but be alert!  We shouldn't have much trouble tonight".  I proceeded to turn around and agree with him saying "you guys won't have any trouble tonight!  We're a fine bunch of hooligans!"... this got just about everyone laughing except for AWBSJ.  I don't think he liked that bit of well timed wit very much.  I say he was a slight exception above because he really didn't cause any problems that I saw or act in any way that would spoil the show or anything like that... he just seemed to genuinely dislike the assorted people attending the show as he spoke with clear disdain for the patrons of Ovens Auditorium that night!  I actually found him more funny than nuisance.  He did approach a few guys up front during PMU and appeared to tell them to calm down or something of the like, other than that, I didn't see him again until he broke up Hef and I (I understand, Hef needed to get back stage and the band needed to rest).  Just wanted to share that nugget of entertainment with you guys!

Pics will come...

Now with Twitler taking a high end steak of this caliber and insulting the cow that died for it by having it well done just shows zero respect for the product, which falls right in line with the amount of respect he shows for pretty much everything else.- Lonestar

AWBSJ definitely came off like a rear end in my limited encounter with him.

It was definitely awesome to see you again.  I hope there is another leg to this tour!
