The first impression on Wolfmother doesn't jive with its rankings. I wasn't crazy about it on the first listen. But it grew on me.

That chorus..

They are a german crossover band, don't know if they were/are known in the US as well. Marco Minnemann played drums on their debut.

No it wouldn't. Would've been fine.

I actually rented one of their CD's from my town library. Not sure which one, but it has Elephant Talk on it, which absolutely blew big chunks.

Are You Dead Yet? is worth a purchase too. Mixed reviews but I always liked that one.

what i actually send is like a 5/10 song in my book. the other option i had is even worse though.

I bought the first two really cheap, but it's a third party from Europe. It's already shipped though.

I got the other three today. Haven't opened them yet. Been a long day.

tbh i still think i like sun of nothing best off Colors but I'm not fully wild about any song there, some of the heavier elements on colors are too lacking in melodic value to work

I fully agree. TGM is my favorite. Although Colors blew me away when it first came out. Such a step up from Alaska. And I thought Alaska was a massive step up from The Silent Circus.
