Today is Lisa's 1st day of radiation. 5 days a week for 4 weeks. I can tell how scared she is. She's not sleeping. I hope this goes easy for her. So much on our minds right now. I just want her to be at ease right know. I do understand going through cancer myself over 25 years ago.

Thank you my children. She's gassed. Went to bed at 8pm. I haveca feeling the radiation and stress will wipe her out. See also hurt her shoulder and is seeing a doctor for that too. She doesn't sleep well.

Just returned home from my grandmother's funeral. I guess we (the family) all saw it coming (she was 82 and she deteriorated after her husband/my grandfather died last April) although I visited her at her home right before the New Year's Day and she was still lucid and seemed lively.

It's surreal to realize all my grandparents are now dead. I never posted about the rest of them passing away here (didn't plan to do it this time either), but it just feels weird right now. Like the whole era has ended.

Just had to share it somewhere I suppose.

Here for you. I still think of my grandmother with love every day more or less and I lost her back in the early '90s. They'll always be with you if you let them.
