Seem to be happening more and more but my dad's memory is slowly fading away with the MS.

This week for example I told him after I took him for a scan Monday that we would get the results Thursday and I'd pick him up at 12 noon.  He called me Tuesday night asking if he should order a steak and cheese or am I still coming over.  Then Wednesday he couldn't remember why and who we were seeing Thursday.  It breaks my heart to see a once sharp man slowly descend into a shell of himself.  I worry about him daily.

We can get drunk and commiserate over that one, buddy. BY FAR the hardest part of the last year or so of my dad's life.  He was a genius in so many ways, and to have to talk to him like a child in the last couple months... suffice to say my therapist has been earning her keep in 2022.

It saddens me to see him slowly lose himself.  He presses a wrong button on the remote and it changes the input and he can't figure out to get back to the correct input.  My brother has to drive to his house to fix it for him.

EXACTLY the same. "Bill, why is there a big black border around the picture; that was never there before!" This from a guy that once walked me through the changing of a transmission on a car he had never worked on before, off of memory.
