I freaking hate people. Just had a repo truck driver come within inches of running over my foot as he tried to roll into my work. Dude starts cussing me out and arguing when I tell him to basically go piss off.
"I legally have the right to come in here".
No... no you don't. I cannot interfere with the repossession of a vehicle if it is out in the open, but you cannot drive through a private gate to do so. That's Trespassing. I'm not as stupid as I look, and it is literally my job to know the laws pertaining to trespassing and what not.
Dude is like "well YOU specifically have let me take cars before!"
Which is true. Kinda. There are sections of the property that are public access, both pedestrian and vehicle access. I cannot stop people from accessing these places. If I see a Repo in progress in one of these places, I take note of it, snap a photo, and standby in case I need to call the cops for a disturbance (owner comes out and threatens the guy, etc).
Hell, technically if the guy would have parked and walked into the part of the property he was trying to access, which is open to pedestrian traffic, and happened to find the vehicle, have the key, and drive it off the island, I can't stop him. That's perfectly legal.
That show was something else man, never experienced anything like that. Unless you want to pay 500+ for good seats, that side stage GA was real sweet all things considered. My day in Death Valley National Park is over, got to my airbnb in the middle of nowhere Nevada, just over the border from CA. I'm wiped, my phone is dead but my laptop is good. I'll go write my Aerosmith review while my phone charges and I watch this beautiful sunset over these mountains.
I just skimmed through a video you posted from the side stage area. Pretty cool view actually. Must have been a pretty unique experience!
