Thanks. Mostly fine with it myself. Hardest part about Funerals is seeing all the pain in others. Seeing my dad broken up is always hard.

I had to do this at my Mom's funeral. It's so hard to to well up and break down when talking about someone you just lost. I hope she looks over you lovingly every day XJD.

I have been to 2 funerals in my life, for my mom's parents. I was at peace with them dying, but seeing my mom sad was unexpectedly hard.

Soooo I honked right in the face of a lady today... in a parking lot... due to a cart

Seriously, though. Yes I did. My coworker and I just got into my car when the lady finished loading her van diagonally from me and then just leaving the cart in the dead center of the spot directly in front of me right before I was about to pull through. I gave it a moment, thinking she just moved it to shut the door, nope. She starts to get in the driver seat. HONK and a death stare. People are terrible. And yes, I can back out, which I did, but how fucking rude to leave a cart completely blocking the spot like that and with no shame. She left the cart and drove off the other way from me after our stare down.

Wanted to share this, didn't know where, so will do it here.

Was talking with a friend I've known since high school and the topic of our wildly different musical tastes came up. He recalled a time I made him watch the film version of The Wall with me (oddly I do not remember this, but it probably happened) and it was a clear sign he and I were on radically different musical trajectories, which exist to this day. He went on to say he thought it was so great that there was a community of people who shared similar musical interests that I have been active with for over a decade. He was envious of our community here. That made me appreciate us in a new way.
