My company doesn't let us roll over days anymore so use it or lose it. But the policy is very pro "use it" so there's no real obstacles to take my days off unless I have scheduled work. They are also giving us the last week of the year off, not part of my PTO.
I have days currently schedule at the end of October because I was planning on seeing Judas Priest, but since that's not happening I am likely taking those back and putting them onto two different Fridays. I kind of want to spend this Friday just vegging and playing the Battlefield beta so I may burn one day this week. Then I'd still have 8 more days to burn on top of the already scheduled 3 other days I have in. It's honestly a nice problem to have. It's real great to work with a company that values your time away and promotes it.
