So no one knows what Room 137 is?

"Wolfgang Pauli was a physicist who, among other things, was obsessed by the number 137 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fine-structure_constant). And, what's really important is that he was put in hospital before he died. And you'll never guess what room number he died in.

Room 137.

There's more about him on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolfgang_Pauli"

Now that I'm used to the track, I have to say I don't really hear the very minor resemblance to The Beautiful People in the intro anymore. It's one of those things that one notices by vague association, call it musical pariedolia, but once you actually know the track, you realize it's quite different.
I use my sig to pimp some bands from Italy! Check out Elvenking (Power / Folk metal), Folkstone (Rock / Medieval metal), Arcana Opera (Gothic/Noir/Heavy metal) and the beautiful voice of Elisa!

So the more I listen to this song the more I love it it’s brilliant.

1) don’t know if it has been mentioned (sorry) but I love that Labrie songs “one three seven” as the song reaches the 1:37 mark.

2) does anyone gets a “mark tremonti” vibe during the solo at 2:35?

The best thing is that live,we know the tempo for this will only work with a 137bpm click. Now that's something cool.

I think there is a reference between Room 137 and Pale Blue Dot as it is put on spot 9 on the album.
'Never Ending Number 9' could refer to the rythm of 1|9/16
I thought maybe there is a polyrythm going on but I think not.
Otherwise it would be a never ending pattern as stated in this book about the Never Ending Primes. Look at page 15. Would be a nice musical reference to the never ending journey of the Voyager.

Room 137 on spot 5 makes quit sense too. Mangini put a text on about the order on the album so I think this might be something.

What do you think?

No, the lyric is "never ending number line."

Cool lyrics ruined by music that is too simple for me to appreciate. Not a rewarding listening experience to me.

I like it a lot.
It reminds me of that awesome rock n roll feel they had in "Lie".
Also the evolution of the chorus riff at the last one is very cleverly done.

This is true. It's probably that swinging rhythm (as Mike Mangini put it) that does that. DT has made some awesome, chunky riffs in the past, but this is one of their most headbanging inducing ones.

The music for R137 "sounds" simple, but it actually isn't.

That doesn't make any sense.  There are a lot of simple, 3 chord progression, 4/4 time songs out there that sound good and can be easily appreciated.  There are also some that don't sound good, but it isn't because they're simple.
