Hey guys, I don't post here very often, but some of you may remember I won the EBMM + JP Match the Master contest back in 2016. My first official book of transcriptions was also just released: Cynic | Sheet Happens Publishing

Anyway, I transcribed the entire Distance Over Time album. I'll happily send it to you, just email me at maytropolees@comcast.net

Have you thought about doing tabs for any Liquid Tension Experiment stuff? If you haven't, please do.

There's no official releases for anything LTE. I wouldn't do everything they've done, like the jammy-type stuff, but for sure the main songs.

I'd absolutely love to do some official LTE transcriptions. I could be wrong, but I thought there were legal issues (Magna Carta records) holding up LTE stuff. I did transcribe and play the Biaxident solo on my youtube channel https://youtu.be/2AbwCL0miZM, but I should probably revisit that to see if any positional adjustments should be made. I'm hoping to get to talk to JP in April when they come to the Tower Theatre in Upper Darby (where we had the masterclass in 2016). Would like to discuss the DoT transcriptions with him and the possibility of LTE, etc.

Looking through the tabs, I really don't understand how you do this mate. To come up with this in a matter of days just seems impossible. It seems the work of a cyborg or something, just doesn't seem possible.

Yeah, my initial thought was "any of the Rudess parts adapted for guitar".

Hit F6 to show/hide track information on the right side of the screen. Under "Musical Notation", you'll then be able to select whether to display tab, standard notation, or both. Enjoy!

Ahh, I thought it still allowed you to change that on password-protected files. If you send me another email, I can re-send you the GP7 files with just the tab notation. Probably not until Monday though.
