While waiting for the new album, let's try this (hopefully it wasn't done before, at least not recently). What are your favourite song titles by DT? Try not to be influenced by the songs. For some of these I'm not sure (honorable mentions are False Awakening Suite and Illumination Theory), but no. 1 is undoubtely Lifting Shadows Off a Dream. It's just so beautiful
For a title to appeal to me, it should sound/look nice, but should also make me think about it, or leave an impression/scene in my mind

Interesting to note, the quality of the titles was much higher in their earlier days, in my opinion

Cool idea.

It reminded me that I've once bought an album just because I liked the name of the band, name of the album and a song called Metropolis-Part I: 'The Miracle and the Sleeper'. No regrets.

Indeed, quality/liking of the music shouldn't influence you at all when making a decision

To some of the other guys: I also don't like Barstoool Warrior. It's the not-liking of that song title that made me think about this topic in the first place lol
I also don't like You Not Me, but I cannot be sure it's not influenced by the fact that it's possibly my least favorite DT song

One thing I do have to say about a particular song title, and I guess it really doesn't matter much since it wasn't on an "official" DT record, but couldn't they have titled the song "What Your Thinking" or "Feeling Inside" rather than the exact title of an already classic Pink Floyd song?

I like titles that gets my imagination running. The more straight to the point titles usually doesn't do much for me.

Space-Dye Vest
Such a strange wonderful title. Even kinda like that dash between Space and Dye. Not even understanding the underlying meaning was even better since it's so hard to understand

The Count of Tuscany
How can you not get excited by a title like that?

The Glass Prison
Very metaphorical and interesting title. Makes me imagine a big flat green prison wall made out of glass in a dark space.

At Wit's End
Haven't heard the song but love the title. Makes me very intrigued. The title is a story by itself.

The Ministry of Lost Souls
I wanted to hear this song so badly just by the name. It's a mystical and beautiful title. Very out of this world and bigger than life concept.

Lifting Shadows Off a Dream
Poetic and beautiful title.

Light Fuse and Get Away
Interesting title that kinda has a Black Clouds & Silver Lining vibe to it.

Breaking All Illusions
Could be that I connect the title heavily with the artwork they did (with the crystal). Nice wording and strong concept.

Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence
Tells a story just by the title. It really has everything in the title but still leaves enough space for imagination.

A Change of Seasons
Very powerful title. It has an epic grandiose feeling about it even from the title. You don't even have to see the length to know this is a powerful long song.
