Distance Over Time Listening Party in NYC w/ Exclusive Vinyl

Just saw Dream Theater post this on their Facebook page.

They're having a listening party in NYC on the 21st, and a $40 ticket gets you entrance and an exclusive to the event two tone vinyl copy of the album.


I'd love to go to the listening party but don't have any use for the vinyl. Does anybody not local to NYC want to buy the vinyl from me if I were to get a ticket?

I've got one person I'm waiting to hear back from, otherwise I'll drop you a message. Don't know what the price would be, but I'm not trying to profit from this. Ceiling would be the cost of the ticket.

You can but the vinyl and wristband online, but they won't ship the record. If anyone would be interested in getting it for me since I'm in Ca...I'd obviously pay for shipping and add a little extra for the effort....message me.

Just returned home from this event - it was a blast! In all honesty the volume in the theatre was so loud that it was hard to discern some of the nuances of the songs, but it sounded crushing! S2N and Pale Blue Dot sounded  :metal

The Q&A afterwards was really great as well, JP and MM are really funny guys. The vibe in the building was really nice, people were excited, lots of applause after every song. Except At Wits End - where we all got tricked - we clapped after the fade out, then the song came back, then when it ended again every one was confused whether it was really the end this time, so nobody clapped   :lol

I was there as well - question - does anyone know if the band/label will release all of the song videos on youtube etc?

Would love to rock the whole album at home the same way it was experienced at this event!

The videos are part of the blu-Ray disc. I thought they will get posted on YouTube by the band since petrucci said they will use the videos this tour.
