First Impressions:

Even the songs I’d say are “decent” are all on the lower end of that spectrum and the stuff in this genre I do like is a lot more emotionally powerful than anything on display here.

I didn’t find most of it actively unpleasant but I didn’t really especially like anything here either.

This EP’s quality basically follows the shape of a mountain.

But at the same time I at least liked everything here, and aside from those songs not quite stylistically fitting, it all does flow pretty well and has a good start/middle/end feel to it.

I will say that listening to this late at night on a Friday probably helped its initial impression though ‘cause it’s good mood music for that context.

So yeah this… isn’t really that cohesive, honestly, yeah, I can see some similarities but they’re all pretty different styles overall.

I’m certainly at least inclined to look a little deeper into an artist I hadn’t really delved much into before, even after one listen, though.

I commented on how diverse this round is, but I will also say, that isn't all necessarily for the best

I'm kind of hoping its the latter one, but really it's probably the former.

tbh you really have to go the extra mile to get a "bad" score from me, i'm pretty patient with a lot of stuff

that being said there are a few EPs here that are just outright better than the others, or at least that i already know i like more
