1. While this is probably my favorite song on this EP, I kind of resent it for giving me the impression this EP was going to be something that the EP isn’t really, at all.
2. On one hand, it’s a pretty clever gimmick, on the the other hand, it uhh. Is kind of a flatline, too.
3. This song is both weird and misshapen on its own merits, and suffers from being adjacent to a song that does the exact same thing, but better.

1. Hard to pigeonhole this into a specific sound, which is weird considering it doesn’t really “stand out” either, but I dig it regardless.
2. Knowing what I know about your tastes, I’m actually really confused as to why you’d like this one. I don’t really have a strong opinion on it, myself.
3. There was a point last year where I would’ve liked this, or at least though I liked this, a lot more than I do right now. Heck, I even thought I liked this on first listen but now I’m not so sure.

1. I feel like I missed this band at the point where I would’ve been really into them and now all I get listening to this is “mmm yeah, s’fine.”
2. I think this one kind of works for me, but I don’t really have anything to say about it besides? This band puts me in a weird place where I don’t know quite how to feel about them.
3. This isn’t quite like what I’ve heard from this band before, but I’d say I like it at least a bit more?

2. This song is totally fine, but it’s also the most shallow song in the entire roulette thus far. I feel like I got everything I could out of it on a single listen and I don’t really want to listen to it anymore.
3. This song has a cool vibe to it but it never really does anything with it. I still like it though but it could’ve been a lot better than it is.

1. This could’ve been a really effective song if the music was, like, the slightest bit interesting.
2. The vocals pretty much sell this one but boy do they sell it. Whew.
3. I’m certain this song is basic as hell but damn if it doesn’t get me every time the song kicks in.

i'm wondering if some of these will need more listens, who knows. i know who first place is and i have an idea of who last place is but the middle three i have no clue

Well I removed a nearly 30 minute song that I'm trying to replace with 2 or 3 other songs. I'm hitting a wall with your banned list at every turn it seems. Although I think I found 2 songs I can use.

No I just decided one of the songs I originally put in the album I didn't want to use anymore. And in looking for songs to replace it I kept getting slapped down by the banned list.

By the way the Concept Album flows a lot better without that song too.

gonna try and start posting results tomorrow night. three writeups done and i have the top 2 + bottom 1 sorted right now, just need to sort 3rd and 4th. if i can't i might just throw up a quick tiebreaker round

i could do another listen to this round but honestly i find most of these EPs really boring and don't really want to do that. it is what it is

hopefully the last round is better  otherwise i might just ragequit or something

having listened & done writeups for the two EPs i thought were kinda close though, i actually have a clear favorite of the two now, so i don't think it'll actually be close enough for that to be necessary
