First Impressions:
The strength of the last song here is likely going to be enough to carry you through to the next round by itself, most likely. I do see potential for the other songs here to click on relistens, though.
I think my big issue here is that, while all these sound fine enough, this is a type of sound that’s only really going to work with me if the songs resonate emotionally and I don’t get the feeling any of these will for me.
I had pretty high expectations for your submission and I can safely say I was not disappointed.
One song that kind of irritated me, two songs that were solid enough but didn’t really do much to stand out for me.
I’m not versed enough in the weird types of music you like to really properly say if these all go together well but they all seem to be going for a different kind of aesthetic.
I don’t know if any of these songs are likely to leave an especially huge impact but it’s absolutely the kind of music I’m all for hearing more of.
I don’t expect this to end up one of my favorite EPs but I also don’t expect something like this to be unpleasant to listen to repeatedly, either.
In regards as to this working as an EP you pretty much hit the nail on the head, it’s just a shame none of the songs really stand out.
More than anything, I see this EP as a collection of songs that are all potential growers seeing as all three of them have landed in the same tier for me on first listen.
This feels like the most straight-up average EP of the entire bunch and I’m struggling to have anything else to say about it.
On the strength of the songs alone though it’s still a pretty decent listen regardless, even if they don’t form a cohesive whole.
This is kind of a weird impression because I neither really loved nor hated anything on this one, and I was expecting at least some of this to fall into one end or the other of that spectrum, but no, it’s all just pretty okay.

This is about the distribution you'd expect when songs are sent specifically to try and match to my tastes; not a lot I disliked here, but less than a third of the songs that made a really positive first impression. There is one EP that has no songs that scored worse than GOOD though, I will say that much.
