Bill And Ted 3 Starts Filming On March 5 In LA, Tempe & Phoenix

I've said all along that yeah, I'd love to see it, but it's all just hearsay and rumors until the cameras start rolling.  In a month, we find out the truth.

It's like the new Tool album.   But I'm still hopeful.

If the cameras DO roll on March 5th, I will be ecstatic.

Tempe and Phoenix, eh? If they need a mall, they'll probably use that Fiesta Mall since it's pretty much abandoned anyway. Malls suck nowadays.

Anyway...

The article in the original post in this thread said filming was supposed to start two weeks ago, and now it's "this summer."  That, along with some of the wishy-washy language in this video ("looks like we might, actually, hopefully...") doesn't exactly give me a sense of optimism.

Yep.  And my position is still the same.  Sounds good, but I'll believe when I see it.

"[T]he long-gestating third ‘Bill & Ted’ film will now begin filming June 24th and wrap August 17th."  I realize that this isn't Lord of the Rings, but isn't that a crazy short filming schedule?

New pictures from the set, with a rather different look for Ted.

Not sure if the pictures will hotlink, but whatever, here is a link to the article.

I just rewatched the first two movies, and as nifty as the first one is, the second one is just awful.  I hope the new one works.

I really enjoy the second one. I think it's fun in its own right.

It took way longer than I imagined it would to find Keanu

Sucks that we have to wait almost exactly a year to see it. Why next August!?

Could mean a lot of CGI work.

Can you imagine what it felt like for Keanu and Alex to be back in the phone booth together almost 30 years later? It's gotta feel weird--but I imagine it also probably felt like they never left, it felt natural

Bill and Ted and Billie and Thea, in the garage.  I'm pretty sure we have that same bookshelf, with records and everything.

Why is there a sequel to this movie, other than to steal people's money? The original sucked to begin with. So pathetic and corny.

would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
