I was fed a diet of Doobie Brothers since I was in nappies and they are still a favourite (both eras)- not that I listen often these days.  The Captain and Me made my DTF Top 50.

Anyway I've not heard an awful lot so I just went for the hits. Long Train, Streets, Fool and Listen.

‘The Captain And Me’ is an honorable mention, along with ‘Dark Eyed Cajun Woman’, but I just listen to that whole album if I want to hear it.  In my list of 100 favorite albums.  Great ebb and flow throughout.

‘Clear As The Driven Snow’ is such a great album side closer (love the sleigh bells!), then ‘Without You’ hits you between the eyes to open Side Two.   ‘Nobody’ is a gem from their first album, that I just heard a few years ago.

No doubt many have heard the ending instrumental of ‘I Cheat The Hangman’ as a backdrop without realizing it’s by the Brothers Doobie.

I only voted for Black Water because I like it so much better than everything else on the list.  Not to say I don't like the rest - I do, very much - but Black Water is, to me, just THAT good.
