I love both Manifolds and Black Seed. Maybe controversial but my vote goes for Souls. Some brilliant stuff, but similar compositional issues to STW in my opinion.

Souls is the underappreciated gem of this demo, as far as I'm concerned. All the love usually goes to Blind and Snow (which is justified, probably), but Souls is amazing too.

I love Earthlings, and especially compared to that one Black Seed feels a little.. weak? Or unfinished, maybe?

For sure Earthlings is a big improvement, but obviously I knew Black Seed for a few years so it has its own identify. I also prefer the chorus (even if it is more of a King Crimson rip off).

Sounds like I might be voting Souls for a few rounds then.
