Never known anything about the people involved but bought it on 7" single when it was out. Still super catchy and stoopid today. That means it's a good song.
Well, that's the thing; that was the first album by "Starship" which rose from the ashes of the Jefferson Starship, which was itself a descendant of the Jefferson Airplane. The big names of the Jefferson Starship were Craig Chaquico, Paul Kantner, Grace Slick, and Mickey Thomas. Kantner left, and took his ball (the name) with him, and so Starship was Chaquico, Slick and Thomas (there are other people that were constants, but I can't remember their names, no disrespect).
If I'm not mistaken, Bill Bottrell (Kevin Gilbert fans will recognize that name) was involved too as a producer and/or engineer.
