You're good for now; I have 10 out of 16. Hoping to spend the weekend listening, since we're getting snow Saturday night into Sunday morning, but so it goes.

Currently in the middle of a giant snowstorm. I think it's snowed well over a foot since this morning and supposed to snow for another 5 hours or so.

Cool.We hardly ever get snow where I live in the UK. If there’s a new ice age my town will miss out. We do however do rain. Lots of rain.

It's like my old company President used to say about starting meetings on time - I'll show more respect to the people that arrived on-time vs those that showed up late.

In this case, I think roulette hosts should respect the effort of those that submitted timely vs accommodating those that didn't. That's how I played things - gave a deadline, and started listening regardless if people submitted by it or not.

@ Lowdz... yup, clearly a global phenomenon, as I too remember that getting WAAAAAAAY too much radio play than it deserved.

I'm going to consider this for future rounds in my current roulette. It may not effect things in a big way, but those who submit in a timely fashion will obviously get more time and fair play.

I always gave the same amount of listens regardless of when I received. That is unless a song really appealed to me and I wanted to hear it more. But to be fair, everyone got the same number of listens. I would start listening early only to keep the round flowing and results on time.

I generally do the opposite, I listen to the songs I like the least a few times more than the rest to give them a chance to grow on me.

I tend to go through everything once at first, then go from there; the most interesting ones I remember get immediate replays, but then I try to focus on the ones I don't enjoy that much so I can be fair. It's easier to fall in love with a song immediately than appreciate one that doesn't leave much of an impression the first time, usually happens with longer or more complicated songs.
