Well, I didn't see anyone do it yet. Personally, I like DOT.

Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

DOT for me as well
It sounds like, "ruk, ruk, ruk, ruk, ruk." Instead of the more pleasing kick drum sound of, "gzarruk, gzarruk, gzarruk, gzarruk."

As a basic rule, if you hate it, you must solely blame Portnoy. If it's good, then you must downplay MP's contribution to the band as not being important anyway, or claim he's just lying. It's the DTF way.

As for the question, D/T is what I prefer.  Then again, I prefer P/G for Rush's Grace Under Pressure, so I like things a little clever, I suppose.

I like DoT, with a small "o", maybe give that as an option as well.

DOT, of course.

Anyway, I grew up hearing people talking about "Master" and "Justice", so "Distance", or damn typing "Distance Over Time" if you have a keyboard, is fine as well :D
I use my sig to pimp some bands from Italy! Check out Elvenking (Power / Folk metal), Folkstone (Rock / Medieval metal), Arcana Opera (Gothic/Noir/Heavy metal) and the beautiful voice of Elisa!

DoT seems like the title is "Distance of Time", as in ToT, ACoS, TCoT, TGoM, OTBoA, etc.

I'll go with DOT, all caps.

Yeah, I think DoT looks 'nicer', but it doesn't really make sense not to capitalise the O.

D/T would be OK, but it doesn't seem quite right to me, being the initials of both the band and of course the self-titled album.

I think it makes sense in that for titles, normally the prepositions are written with the first letter in lower case (if my memory serves me well).

I'll be the odd one out to call it Speed! You're to blame for suggesting the option when people will be confused by my future posts btw

Or maybe I'll call it Dream Th14ther

Fixed.

Also, I will probably just type it out, because I don't like any of the other shortcuts I have seen.

Ah, well I probably will go with DoT then :D For some reason I thought it was just 2 or 3 letter words you didn't capitalise in the middle of titles.

Usually, yes, unless it is the first or last word, and not if it is part of a 2 word phrase.  Like, even though "on" is a preposition, it is more appropriate to capitalize it when typing out the Kansas song "Carry On Wayward Son," for example.

Bands almost always capitalize every word in song and album titles, because it looks bigger and better, but technically "over" should not be capitalized in the case of this album title, just like the band's 4th album is Falling into Infinity (not Falling Into Infinity).

Even if speed is the result of distance / time, it would feel weird to call it that. It isn't the album title.

Just think about it the other way, no one calls Pearl Jam's first album "5 + 5".  ;)

D/T. It’s unique and is a nice nod to the band name.
