Silver Talon didn't hit me right away, but for some reason I kept going back to it. I like it a ton now. Sure, there's a lot of Nevermore in there, especially with the vocals, but I think there's more of an old-school feel (in the best possible meaning of the word) that works great.

Incidentally, Silver Talon is an offshoot of Spellcaster (RIP - check out their last album Night Hides the World, pretty cool), which also spawned Unto Others (aka Idle Hands)
