I'm digging the new Seventh Wonder today!

It's definitely a Seventh Wonder album.

No new ground broken on it but well done nonetheless.

Spun it at work today...

would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

I hear you but if Tommy K sang an Applebees menu it would be great.

Yeah...I haven't spun the last one yet, but that's how I generally feel about Seventh Wonder too...I was reading this one is a little more "concise" in terms of songwriting, so I wanted to give it a shot.

Some releases that I'll be checking out:

Deathwhite - Grey Everlasting (excited about this one, given how much I enjoyed their previous records. So far, it sounds ok, but it's not grabbing me as much as I'd like. Might be a grower)

Kardashev - Liminal Rite
Billy Howerdel - What Normal Was
Kreator - Hate Uber Alles
Seventh Wonder - The Testament

Just finished up listening to new Kardashev. I know I've checked out this band before but this was heavier than what I was expecting. It was really good on first impressions.
Kardashev has always been really heavy :dunno:

I peed next to Ian Mosley and Mark Kelly
Derek Sherinian probably stands 10 feet away from the urinal, shoots from downtown, and announces loudly that he's making history.

So...I got a Kardashev song in a roulette of mine and I don't remember the song or who sent it, but I remember liking it...I think. I saw they had a new album out today, so I pulled it up on Spotify at work, and the vocals were fucking harsh.

I'm going to try and give it another listen at home with my headphones.

I also got sent them in a roulette I think, either by Tomislav or Elite? I may be confusing them with another band though as the heaviness of this new release threw me (in a good way obvs).

Pup, it was you who sent me Kardashev- Beyond Sun And Moon.

It actually didn't do great.  ;D 8th out of 12 songs.

This is what I said..

4. Kardashev - Beyond Sun And Moon

"Holy motherfucker! What in the fuck? I like it!"

Oh Boy..The first half of this song is like a two minute car accident. I liked it on first listen, but with each subsequent listen, I couldn't wait to get to the second half of the song, which was quite enjoyable.

Gave the Kardashev album a listen too...phew! That was quite intense. Lots to chew on, but plenty of beautiful and brutal music...

I'm way behind on new releases.  I'll have to see if motivation strikes to catch up next month.  Tomorrow also has Frayle, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Derek Sherinian, Massacre, and In Slumber.  I'll definitely check out the first three at some point.

The new Conjurer album Pathos blew me away on first listen.  :metal

Much better than their first album, which was still pretty good.

The Dear Hunter and Umphrey's McGee tomorrow.

still absorbing the massive list from last week (The Warning, Coheed, PT and Bubblemath), while trying to compile a midseason list.

Couple showed up in my new release Spotify list, but I don't know if they were actually released today:

Chaos Magic / Emerge
Eye of Melian / Legends of Light - I don't know a thing about this outfit, but a single that was released earlier in the year tickled my earbuds enough that I had this on my radar.
That's a word salad - and take it from me, I know word salad
I fear for the day when something happens on the right that is SO nuts that even Stadler says "That's crazy".

Black Midi is GREAT.
I listened to once on Tidal and didn't love it. Then got the Vinyl because I knew I hadn't given it a proper change yet, and it blew me away.
