And he's back. Where was this the last two rounds?  Seriously, what the fucking fuck!?!?  Melodic metal at it's finest.  Nice gritty vocalist (sounds a lot like Chity from Red Circuit - and earlier in the Roulette from Katt, PowerQuest), and his style fits the music like a glove.  Reminds me a ton of the song Last of the Heroes by Sturm Und Drang - which I absolutely love - particularly because of the keyboard melody that drove this song.  Everything about this was a bullseye.

K is Chad, and the third song is Black Majesty, Far Beyond.  Intersting pick.  I would have sent something from the first two albums.

I only have a 'best of' from them.  I just went with something that had a heavy dose of cheese.  If I'd known the discography better, I'm sure there's something that is even cheesier - though the early stuff was probably gonna be banned, given Katt's response to my submission that he hadn't heard anything from them in 13 years.

If it just has songs from the first two albums then yeah, it's a best of.  If it has songs from all their albums it's like a 'we know our old stuff is the real deal but we have to put songs from all our albums to portray that we think all our stuff is equal' of.

There is an eerie feeling along the path that "Alithia" travels.  He thinks he is alone now, but can't be totally sure.  There seems to be a glitch in his map - the enchantments that have been updating it to show where his fellow travellers are don't seem to be in effect anymore.  There are strange creatures about however... they look to be from the far east, and of all different shapes and colors - some cute, some the ugliest fucking things "Alithia" has ever seen.  No matter, he is much too old and experienced to take any bother with such creatures.  There was one aggressive turd-nugget, with a couple of furry companions.  Short purple things with long snouts, each wielding a dull wavy blade of crude design and construct.  Taking no chances, "Alithia" unsheathed his mighty blade, and vanquished them - oddly enough, they vaporized once he sliced thru them.  More enchantments from the Dark Wizard?

Four days ago, foilage had an distinct purplish hue, and though he is now Ranger, it was clear that the trees were showing obvious growth patterns from different eras.  Today, the shrubbery as turned orange; perhaps this is the species Ekke-ekke-ekke-ekke-ptang-zoo-boing?

It is time to make camp, and continue to fine tune his plans to defeat the evil warden he will face in the coming days.  He senses the time is nearly upon him.

While TAC The Elder was taking a Dad-style nap in the afternoon, Evrys The Talespinner trekked to TACsylvania and raided TAC's Roulette cupboard.
Evrys The Talespinner will heretoforth be dubbed thee Evrys The Song Bandit. For such treasonous acts, Evrys shall sleep with one eye open, watch every shadow, hear every whisper, and suffer a paranoid existance, as it will not be a question of if, but a question of when. Soon, Evrys will hang like a hangamaneman.

As Evrys the Talespinner continued his journey, turning south, he walked through a small forest of blossoming cherry trees. He walked past it, and as if someone from TACsylvania earlier walked through here on a quest for millenium, in retrospect, he felt the notes and motives of a song about that grand quest come to him in a flash of distant memories. He went back to that little forest, and spent a night there, singing long-forgotten songs about fallen empires, fearless captains of warships, and that one song he returned here for.

Perhaps now, when there is no audience save for silent, thoughtful, blossoming trees... perhaps now his songs will be appreciated.
