Updated the second post of this thread with the results from Affinity.

Like I stated in the last two rounds for Affinity, I will take a break from this Survivor for this weekend and since Christmas comes basically directly after that, for Christmas as well. The Survivor will continue with Vector on Thursday the 27th.

A little something while we're on this break:

As this is Affinity's second season of participation in the Haken Survivor, I've been comparing the results from 2016 to now. Lapse has jumped up 3 places from 8th in 2016 to 5th in 2018, and Initiate has dropped 2 places from 5th in 2016 to 7th in 2018.

Celestial Elixir got a total of 7 votes in the entire Survivor before this round (and honestly, I'm thinking the lone vote it got in Round 1 of the Aquarius Survivor was a troll vote). I think that kind of speaks volumes about how obvious the outcome was. While there was a change in the top 3, with a new song in there, the top 2 remained exactly the same as the last time I did this.

Going back through the history of survivor finals is just watching visions drop from consistently getting #1 to coming in 9th over the course of 6 years

What's very interesting is that, apart from Celestial Elixir at the top, every song above Visions was released after it. Is it a sign of a band improving over time, that even a great song such as Visions gets bumped so far down the pecking order by songs that followed it in the discography?

This is the fourth consecutive Haken Survivor Championship for Celestial Elixir. (Visions won the first two editions.) Does anyone know who won the League in 2017?

The Architect won that one, which surprised me back then, because it didn’t do as well in the Survivor in 2016.
