Ditto.

One song is likely called The Highlander.

Might the Unbreakable song be by Stratovarius?

Pain of Salvation is up there, but I can't be bothered to look up the song.

You actually aren't allowed to guess more than one.

But yeah, now that it's out, Highlander is Lost Horizon, Unbreakable is Sieges Even. As for my guess:

Mystery - Shadow of the Lake sent by Chad
This first band is Soen very cool swingy jazz fusion kinda stuff.

TAC sent Lost Horizon.

Damn, someone sent Ulver. I considered them for the round where you send two contrasting somgs by the same band. IF I would even get that far. They’d be a great candidate there.

Except for the fact my Mystery submission was already solved.  Therefore it was Shmegland in the conservatory with the lead pipe.

Good morning, bedlam.

Parama guesses right, but I am afraid opening that link is the equivalent of solving the Hellraiser Puzzle Box.

True, a lot of big names this round. Something overwhelming, something underwhelming, something ... just whelming.

There will be a bus, and there will be impressions.

Makes sense now! I was considering sending Iter Impius for this round too actually, so I'll be interested to see how it does and how terrible my decision was to send something else instead.

Yeah, we definitely hit the mark on the 'all-star' round (gotta add in Sieges Even).  The names you mention are easily 'all-stars' of the prog-metal genre, with yours being a hot rookie.  And since you outed yourself, I do believe Ostura / Duality is the 'Legend' description - though would've never guessed if not for imdb.

Not sure how Lost Horizon made the all-star squad though!
