Trying to think what Witherfall song would be clued to JP's next solo album.

It's not Vintage, is it?
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

Witherfall's tune is in fact my favourite in his EP, "Line 6 Helix Digit - This Roulette?" being my favourite in yours.

Those EP's are so focking good and well-structured that the match is going to be determined by tiny details, in the bus.

Meanwhile, Chad has sent me a serious contender for best song of the roulette  :D

I have no regrets about Drawing the Lines, but ...

I'll offer the assist to Tim on that one.  I knew of the album on my own, but he reminded me that I needed to stop daydreaming while listening to it, and give it a solid listen.  2017's AOTY for me, and the track of the year in question.

Hindsight is 20/20, eh cheffy?

It’s funny doing EP’s. The song you think the host will absolutely love ends up falling flat and the song you may not think is the strongest is the one that gets the most praise. Happens all the time.

Did you really think a song mixing mannerisms from 2 of my top 3 acts* as not the strongest?  :o

By the way, nothing really fell flat in both EP's.

EDIT: Top 3 acts of the 90's

This is pretty accurate, because I originally had a Symphony X song where the Witherfall song now sits on my EP. I wasn't sure how much Indiscipline would enjoy Witherfall. Plus the Symphony X song was the centerpiece of the EP.

Fractal Cypher, huh. The third track on that EP is the real jam IMO but it's pretty solid stuff
I was actually considering Kerosene off that Structural Disorder album for my EP too

And also hah, so you like the start and end of my EP a lot but not the middle as much, huh  :corn

Also I don't remember which Solstafir track that is  :lol but I'd always send Djakninn myself

I made a Spotify playlist of your's, Chris.

Here's mine as a Spotify playlist.

I thought the songs flowed pretty well on their own. I did try to edit them together, but I don't think they even needed it. Hopefully any editing will not be held against me. :)

Good day, bedlam. Well, we have a winner.

Naturally, I'm gonna spend my free afternoon organising the final writeups, so I'm leaving you with a little annoying suspense.

Meanwhile, let me thank everybody for all the music, the laughs, and the patience to put up with my crazy ways. I had an incredible amount of fun and wholly satisfied my expectations for a crash course in "new" music and in terrific message board people.

This is my overdue parting gift for you all, to be read through the meter of Traffic's John Barleycorn Must Die

There were sixteen men came out of the west, their fortunes for to try
And these sixteen men made a solemn vow, Indy must evolve or die
They signed up, they've memed up, they chose a silly team, split up by whim and age
And these sixteen men made a solemn vow, no banned list's a sheer outrage.

They've sent him PM's for a very long time, 'till crapshoot first songs did fall
And Little Sir Ponce twisted the hangman's head, and so annoyed them all
They've sent him curses 'till judgement day, 'till he looked both pale and wan
And Little Sir Ponce threw some timestamps there, no one became a fan

They've submitted acts with their sounds so sharp, to cut him off at the knee
They've rolled him and tied him with superb tunes, serving him most graciously
They've took great pains to find their way, to his taste as quirky as sparks
And the focker has served them worse than that, with his babbling foolish marks

They've wheeled him around and around a field, one made of aural joy
And there they made a solemn oath on poor ponce whipping boy
They've hired Gregg with his wiseman stick to cut him skin from bone
And the host he has served them worse than that, for half of them were gone

And Little Sir Ponce had a focking ball with some epics and EP's
And Little Sir Ponce had a focking ball, and he thanks you gratefully
For two months wouldn't be so filled with fun, and the long bus a joyous van
And the host couldn't spend a wondrous time, without those sixteen men

I think Prince Ponce works better...  :lol
