Agreed, but it goes a little deeper for me; I'm continually fascinated how someone can make some noise with a bunch of wires and taut skins and it makes someone else, sometimes years and thousands of miles away, feel sharp emotions? Just using an example (and all very respectfully) I don't share very much in terms of tastes with Parama, but his passion and his investment in his music is sincerely awe-inspiring. Who cares if I think it noise (and vice versa!)? That he can lose himself in those songs even for a couple minutes is still an amazing wonderful thing to me.

I've listened to "Tonight" by Ozzy maybe 1,000 times, and it STILL touches me. The "In The Cage Medley" from 3SL STILL gives me goose-bumps, and I find that as fascinating as anything on this planet (besides Margot Robbie).

It is, right? But I think it's amazing, even for its short length. Sending the weird stuff does work with Indiscipline; I knew this because he enjoys stuff like Captain Beefheart, Mr. Bungle and Zappa. The Cardiacs song I sent did quite well, so rather than send a regular ballad, I thought I would go with something a little unexpected. And that vocalist has a great voice. Very unique sound
