reading your scale the gap between 4 and 7 feels massive to me, but that's because a 7-ish score usually is "i like this but i'm totally gonna forget about it because of all the 8+ scores"

Bingo.  I've already forgotten most of the 7s I've got in my current roulette from 20 days ago, let alone the three previous ones.

I still need to bribe Podaar into this.

Gregg... this better happen.  Pop your roulette cherry dude.  You'll never have a better opportunity.

Ha! I just noticed this thread the for the first time this morning.

My familiarity with post-1996 music is probably worse than Indiscipline's. That's why I lurk on these threads to start out with...trying to find something I enjoy.

What band parodied the "********, come out and PLAY!" chant on their fourth album (from 1985)?
What band took their name (indirectly) from one of the gangs in the film?
What band - led by a guy that I believe may have posted here on occasion (definitely posted over at mp.com) - was named after the source material for the film?

What band took their name (indirectly) from one of the gangs in the film?

Can't remember, but I have read somewhere the inspiration gang were The Baseball Furies, which - I'm thrilled to tell you - Walter Hill wanted face-painted as homage to KISS.

the other two were answered correctly by TAC; I'll give you this one.  The Outfield ("Josie's on a vacation far away...") were the Baseball Boys, named after the Baseball Furies.  Their manager advised them to change the name to "The Outfield".

Wouldn't rule out seeing their name pop up again here at some point, just sayin'.  Actually, now that I think about it...  nope.   Too old.

No time limit.

Let's just avoid the Young Turks switching conference due to natural aging process.

I meant for the song lengths, not for sending songs, although I now presume there's no time limit on both.

So the only thing that's banned is music from before 1996? Is that inclusive or exclusive?
