My long song pick is pretty deliberate. It's not about ~13-14 minutes of drivel. There are two distinct halves of the song instead. The first half is fantastic (although our host may dislike the vocals), the second half is something very different. I actually asked him about that part and he assured me it's going to be at least an interesting choice.

Plot twist: he loves both of them (as I do) and I get a 2.

I hear you, and you're not the only participant feeling at odds with this reverse mechanic. I believe trying one time to guess what I don't like is fairly balanced by having tried four times to guess what I like. Plus, as I've been capable to shot down good songs for a single tiny aspect, I'm perfectly capable of salvaging shitty ones for a bit I may love.

All this simmetry is making me dizzy now.

To semi-quote Ramsey Bolton, "if you expected a sensible roulette, you haven't been paying attention" 


EDIT: One more thought, especially for the growls-peddlers. I haven't been throwing tens around for gems, can't see why I should easily do it for turds.
