Deep Purple or Led Zeppelin? Deep Purple
John Lennon or Paul McCartney? Both? But Lennon maybe by a smidgen.
Frank Zappa or Jimi Hendrix? Both talented, but I'm only a moderate fan of either.
Ian Anderson or Peter Gabriel?  Gabriel, .
Greg Lake or Jon Anderson? Lake.
Eddie Van Halen or Randy Rhoads? Rhoads.
Steve Perry or Freddie Mercury? Mercury.
Boston or Chicago? I literally hadn't even heard of Chicago. So Boston by default I guess!
David Coverdale or Glenn Hughes? Hughes, purely by virtue of liking some of the bands he's fronted.
Def Leppard or Bon Jovi? Def Leppard.
Adrian Smith or Dave Murray? Smith.
James Hetfield or Dave Mustaine? Hetfield.
The Clash or The Ramones? Never been especially interested in either.
Tom Waits or Tom Petty? Never been especially interested in either, though what I've heard from Tom Waits sounded pretty good. So him I guess.
Bruce Dickinson or Eric Adams? Dickinson.
Nuno Bettencourt or Paul Gilbert? Can't say I know either well enough, though they're both very talented.
Pantera or Soundgarden? Weird comparison. Pantera, but I don't really know Soundgarden very well.
Blur or Oasis? Tough call. Probably Oasis slightly, but both are good.
Radiohead or Muse? Muse, but both are great.
Gene Kelly or Fred Astaire? No particular preference, both very talented.

Deep Purple or Led Zeppelin?  Led Zeppelin (but Ritchie Blackmore is my favorite musician ever)
John Lennon or Paul McCartney?  McCartney
Frank Zappa or Jimi Hendrix? Hendrix (but because of the influence, not the music)
Ian Anderson or Peter Gabriel?  Phil Collins (of the two, Gabriel, though I love both)
Greg Lake or Jon Anderson?  John Wetton (of the two, Lake, though I love both)
Eddie Van Halen or Randy Rhoads?  Rhoads (though this is like picking which testicle I like better)
Steve Perry or Freddie Mercury?  Mercury
Boston or Chicago? The city?  Boston.  The band?  Boston.
David Coverdale or Glenn Hughes? Coverdale
Def Leppard or Bon Jovi? Lepp (this isn't close, though I like "Wanted Dead Or Alive" more than any other song by both bands)
Adrian Smith or Dave Murray? Dave Murray!!!!
James Hetfield or Dave Mustaine?  Hetfield in perhaps the most lopsided win of any of these questions
The Clash or The Ramones?  The  Sex Pistols or Motorhead (I'm not big on hipster bands that actually suck)
Tom Waits or Tom Petty?  Tom Keifer
Bruce Dickinson or Eric Adams?   The greatest frontman in the history of hard rock/metal: Bruce Dickinson
Nuno Bettencourt or Paul Gilbert?    Eeeeeesh... Gilbert
Pantera or Soundgarden?  Soundgarden, in what is now the most lopsided win of any of these questions
Blur or Oasis?  Oasis
Radiohead or Muse? Muse, but this is like selecting "Hepatitis or bubonic plague?"  I despise Radiohead.
Gene Kelly or Fred Astaire?  Micheal Flatley

Blur or Oasis?  Let them battle it out on Celebrity Deathmatch.
Radiohead or Muse?  Muse. 2 straight eyes.
Gene Kelly or Fred Astaire?  Bob Hope.  Don't ask me to dance bub.

Deep Purple or Led Zeppelin? That's a tough one...Zep by a hair??
John Lennon or Paul McCartney? Paul McCartney & Wings>John Lennon>Paul McCartney
Frank Zappa or Jimi Hendrix? Hendrix
Ian Anderson or Peter Gabriel? Pete
Greg Lake or Jon Anderson? This is like choosing between my right and left eye
Eddie Van Halen or Randy Rhoads? If Randy Rhoads was still alive maybe, but this goes to Eddie
Steve Perry or Freddie Mercury? Journey>Queen, Freddie>Steve
Boston or Chicago? Boston had exactly 2 good albums. Chicago had many. This is a no brainer
David Coverdale or Glenn Hughes? Coverdale
Def Leppard or Bon Jovi? They both had 2 great albums to begin their careers, but Def Leppard was a little more consistent after that.
Adrian Smith or Dave Murray? Cant have one without the other.....except that horrible time in the 90's
James Hetfield or Dave Mustaine? Hetfield to write the song and sing, Mustaine to write the guitar solos
The Clash or The Ramones? If I have to choose...The Clash. Mostly because every Ramones song sounds the same.
Tom Waits or Tom Petty? Petty
Bruce Dickinson or Eric Adams? Bruce for singing talent. Eric for taking photos in leotards and speedos....
Nuno Bettencourt or Paul Gilbert? Paul by a hair....
Pantera or Soundgarden? Soundgarden, no contest. Take your knuckle dragging, neanderthal, tough guy music elsewhere  except Cemetary Gates, that song rules
Blur or Oasis? Oasis
Radiohead or Muse? Muse>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Radiohead>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Creep, this song blows
Gene Kelly or Fred Astaire? Fred by a nose?
aka Puppies_On_Acid
I peed next to Ian Mosley and Mark Kelly
Derek Sherinian probably stands 10 feet away from the urinal, shoots from downtown, and announces loudly that he's making history.

Deep Purple or Led Zeppelin? Neither.
John Lennon or Paul McCartney? Neither.
Frank Zappa or Jimi Hendrix? Neither.
Ian Anderson or Peter Gabriel? I'm only slightly familiar with Ian so yeah.
Greg Lake or Jon Anderson? Neither.
Eddie Van Halen or Randy Rhoads? Neither.
Steve Perry or Freddie Mercury? Freddie, dunno who the other is.
Boston or Chicago? I've only listened to Boston's debut and it's nice.
David Coverdale or Glenn Hughes? Neither.
Def Leppard or Bon Jovi? Bon Jovi because I used to be obsessed with It's My Life as a kid  :lol .
Adrian Smith or Dave Murray? Neither.
James Hetfield or Dave Mustaine? Neither.
The Clash or The Ramones? Neither.
Tom Waits or Tom Petty? Neither.
Bruce Dickinson or Eric Adams? Neither.
Nuno Bettencourt or Paul Gilbert? Neither.
Pantera or Soundgarden? Neither.
Blur or Oasis? I've only listened to one Oasis album so them.
Radiohead or Muse? Radiohead, not even close.
Gene Kelly or Fred Astaire? Neither.

Frankly I don't understand the "neithers" for some of them but whatever; but the one that stuck out at me: Steve Perry.  You don't have to like him, you don't have to like his band's music (it's of a genre; it's great for it's genre, but it's of that genre), but you owe it to yourself and your musical knowledge to know who he is.

Again, not saying you should like it, or want to hear it ever again, but your musical knowledge and vocabulary is severely lacking if it doesn't know who "Steve Perry" is.  (If you need one album, and one album only, it's "Escape".  Be warned, Steve Perry is about as different than Thom Yorke as Lemmy is from Annie Haslam.)

I don't like country music, but I don't mean to denigrate those who do. And for the people who like country music, denigrate means 'put down'.” - Bob Newhart
So wait, we're spelling it wrong and king is spelling it right? What is going on here? :lol -- BlobVanDam
