Yours came out to 4 different genres, but keep in mind this is going by my own interpretations of the different genres that I'm hearing when listening to these.

Yeah, it's an interesting vocal delivery. I'm not sure Pup will like it either, but the music is undeniable. In a way, I find the vocals a bit easier on the ears than early In Flames, though they are somewhat similar.

First impressions and some observations

- This is powerful stuff
- It's both epic and a bit of a mixed bag at the same time
- A pretty stellar second half, marred only by a not so stellar first half
- Great story telling and music that is both fitting and works well as a whole
- There was one band I was worried about going in to this, but it fit surprisingly well
- This flows surprisingly well and is fairly diverse to boot (considering the genres involved)

So, 3 of you decided to do the same general theme, although in very different ways. 2 of you came up with some fairly sci-fi stories. And the odd man out went the fantasy route. None of them are exactly happy stories...

I'm hoping for that one too, but not expecting it.  I suppose I'd be pretty happy with all but 2 and 3, and even those impressions aren't terrible.

Mine certainly isn't a happy ending and I put some thought into the story and track order. Some songs are quite epic, some are quite powerful and I'm pretty sure there's at least one band on there that's weird considering the other genres. As far as consistency goes, I think both halves are about equal, so that's really the only one I can't see being for mine. All the other comments are fair game.
