Well, here we go, I sent an album, and two people already want to send it in the concept album round, so Puppies is asking me to pick another one. And I made sure that I don't use anything from the people in my PM chain (Tim, Chad, romdrums and Lethean).

Re-sending in a few minutes, I guess.

Actually folks, I thought it over and no offense to anyone, but I'd like to drop out of this. I dislike this rule a lot, and for some stupid reason, this Internet discussion over a competition that only exists so we could have fun makes me see red, and that's not a good sign. And since it's all about having fun, well, I'm not having fun. I'm sorry for delaying this round.

I've sent a PM to Puppies saying I'm out.

Good luck to everyone participating, I'll be following as I'm curious what you've got up your sleeves.

My two cents. Puppies should allow the album.

I mean, having a Concept Album Round sounds like a great idea, and it is, but there's a lot that goes into putting a Concept Album.

I feel that if most of us have preregistered our bands for the concept album, it shouldn't bar anyone from using one of them from here on out. In other words, no one should be able to see what scores highly these next two rounds and add it to their album, or if they have not made one, include it. All bands are sent in good faith should be accepted, unless they are on the banned list.

We are all grown ass adults here, so I'm not going to tell anyone what to do. The whole point of the roulette is to have fun and discover awesome new music. If you aren't having fun, then I'm in no position to force anyone to continue. Having said that, I've enjoyed a lot of the stuff you've sent in this roulette and in my last one.

I need to make an amendment to this, cause I made a mistake. It was actually only one other person who has the band in question on their concept album. I misread another persons PM regarding their concept album.

It's no one's fault, folks. The rules are there for a reason. I happened to disagree with the rules—and as I always said, my goal on DTF is to avoid confrontation as I have enough of that in my life, and this particular rule was driving me crazy, leading me to make my most passive-aggressive post in a few years against Parama—fast forward one day, this rule is the reason my album isn't accepted.

Count that as a rage quit, if you'd like, only with less rage than usual.
