Feeling pretty confident about reaching the final then Tim?

I've been about 90% 'done' mine for a week or so.  Not so confident on reaching the final, but I sure as hell don't want to try to put a 'concept album' together in a couple of days.  It's taken quite a bit of work to sift thru a few different ideas, then find the right songs, and ensure they 'flow'.  Whether I reach the end or not, Puppies is getting this concept album!

Nah, it's not that. Up until yesterday, I hadn't really thought about it. But putting a concept album together from scratch seemed pretty daunting. I just didn't want to find myself in a position where if I needed to do one, I wasn't prepared.

But I have the concept, and pretty much have it put together. Hoping nothing gets banned in the meantime.

I cannot find lyrics to 4 of the songs online, so I may have to end up trying to figure them out on my own. That's going to take some time.

I'll definitely listen to any concept albums sent to me, even if you get eliminated before then.

I'll say that not all lyrics have to 100% fit. As long as you don't have one song that's about a grapefruit and then another song about tax law in 18th century France.....or something like that....unless you can somehow conceptually connect them.

Still don't have an album from Elite, but that hasn't stopped me from listening to what I have so far.

One interesting note, we completed the Nordic country trifecta this round, with Norway, Sweden, and Finland all getting representation.

In the mean time have some first impressions for some of the albums.

- Melodic and technical. Off putting trigger sounds on the tom drums.
- Sounds like Voivod, Galactic Cowboys, and Tool had a weird 3-way love child
- This artist definitely has a sound and style that they like to stick to.
- The intensity here is basically turned up to 11.....at all times, without let up.
