Just for a bit of fun. I've limited this to songs under 7 minutes, from the first 5 Spock's Beard albums. If I do a Part 2, I'll probably leave out Snow and move straight on to the NDV era, as most of the songs there are under 7 minutes.

You have four votes.

My choices ended up all being from four different albums, oddly enough!
Beware Of Darkness - While it's a cover, the band make it their own and do wonderful things with the song! It also opens one of my favorite SB albums!
June - A classic, hard NOT to sing along to this one!
The Distance To The Sun - kind of like June, but not as well-known, but evokes the same kind of spirit to me.
Thoughts Part 2 - probably my favorite of the four shorter V songs.

Hopefully there's more votes than just the two of us, Roe!  :lol

-Marc.

Three votes now!

I voted almost the exact same songs as Marc;

June; well, yeah. classic Spock's Beard
Gibberish; I love this track for its quirkiness
The Distance to the Sun; beautiful underrated (as in; I rarely see this song being talked about) gem in Spock's discography
Thought (Part II); a top two song on V, an album containing two epics. it's that good (and 'The Great Nothing' isn't that good, but that's a discussion for another time).
Hey dude slow the fuck down so we can finish together at the same time.  :biggrin:

Revelation, Skin and Cakewalk are also huge favorites of mine. Great poll, I'd enjoy part two.  :tup

It blew me away the first time I heard it. One of those "I was not expecting it to sound like that" moments. Absolutely my favourite of the 4 shorter tracks on V.

Yeah, it's a very intense song. I love how powerful the chorus is after the mellow verses. Such a cool track that I wish SB 3.0 would pull out.

Revelation is easily the best song here and would probably crack my top 5. Fantastic track.
