The song I sent is one of their most accessible songs, from probably their most accessible album.  It was my introduction to them and one of my very first introduction to growls.  Giving Chad a look at the other side of my musical tastes here.

I'm really only passingly familiar with two of their albums, and I'm pretty sure the song you chose isn't from either (none of the titles seem to fit the blurred image). I don't mind them and can see their style appealing to Chad if you chose the right song.

Sharing for the post fail... 

Mentlegen... thank you for your patience (I've learned to say that instead of "sorry" ... trying to be 'less' Canadian ).

It's been a crazy 10 days - both jingle.kids moved in to Residence; I came off of "vacation" to an absolute shit-show / whirlwind at work this week; and to top it off, we bought a house (Tim, the one I showed you).  I'll make a post in the homeowner thread later for any who care.  Lastly, mrs.jingle has been swamped professionally and overwhelmed with all of the above (sans my work shit - she doesn't care  )

I've still been able to get about 5-6 listens of this round, but I'll be honest, it's probably the weakest round.  I'm not sure if it's my mindset with all the other things going on that I stated above, or if it's just the mid-roulette blues.  A few tracks stand out as really good, most are mediocre, and a handful are fairly meh.  Some common themes seem to be prevailing - wall of sound, heavy-af guitars, and great music/tolerable vocals.  There are a few very differentiated songs, but I'm just not sure how much they whet my sonic whistle.

There will only be 8 rounds, and this will be the final round of 'handicapping' a leader - I'll give leaders a respite for the final two rounds when things get into the home-stretch.  It will go 8 rounds, and final results will be posted prior to leaving for ProgStock on Oct 4th.
