TBH I don't think Nacho Libre is even a good comedy, but for some reason the 'get that corn out of my face' had me in tears the first time I saw it. I'm more a Seth Rogen type of guy.

I'm a Pineapple Express, This Is The End, Step Brothers, Tommy Boy kinda guy.

TBH I thought Jack Black was funnier in the new Jumanji film. Nacho Libre is kinda slow. Maybe I'll put it on in a few though, I'm sick and have nothing better to do.

We may disagree on Nacho Libre's status but this, this is a take I love. My favorite comedy of all time.

Tim, School of Rock and Shallow Hal are great too :) Not a fan of Kung Fu Panda though.

For what it's worth, here are the other 'how did I miss them?' bands that might've earned bonus points:

Tool
Opeth
Riverside
Coheed & Cambria
Leprous
Karnivool
Anthrax
Slayer
Pantera
Motorhead
Testament
Metal Church
Mercyful Fate

Kade landed on three of them (Megadeth, King Diamond, and Amorphis), while rj had two (Orphaned Land and BTBAM)

I considered some Motorhead too.   Hmmm.    But then its, do you go with the classic lineup?  The  Robbo lineup (which I LOVE; Another Perfect Day is my favorite Motorhead record)?   Or the Phil years (which are underrated)?

To be fair, I do have 85 scrobbles of Riverside, but mostly with a handful of attempts at SLS and OoM.  Leprous, even fewer efforts were made.

When I look at jingle's last.fm I pretty much dismissed anything he had already heard a full album of, even if only once. A band with 85 listens? Absolutely skip that. I wrote off a bunch of artists with only 9-13 listens because it was a full album.

Bring it on, big-boy.

That goes for all you fuckers.  Happy to continue to get recc'ns if there's stuff you think I need to hear.  I continue to send stuff post roulette - sometimes with success, sometimes not - so I'm game for the madness to continue on an ad-hoc/informal basis.

Kade did send Solution .45 to me last roulette, but I never dug into them.  I'm sure he'll be all :getoffmylawn:.  Not Dave either.
