The result was posted Saturday because that's how long it took to solve it.

The one before that was solved within hours of posting.

It's conceivable that if the puzzle is posted tomorrow, we could have the answer as early as tomorrow night.

Well, that makes me even more excited then! :D

But I think read somewhere that this last puzzle will be the most difficult of all. Meaning it could possibly lead us to one point to another and another until solved.

Well, I won't be bothered if it takes until Sunday to solve it, considering it's a day I get to relax and absorb in a chill mood whatever comes from the Treasure Hunt :)

While everything is silent for one more night, I'd like to say thank you Freddy (and the band, of course) for running all of this! :) I joined the party on puzzle #4, and I never left it. I learnt a lot about cryptography, computers, history, and even the band itself. And, it was an enriching experience working with others much more skilled than me. (And, of course, I experienced the highlight of my 2018, which was seeing the band looking at a screen with my name on it. :))

Thanks!

That was really cool indeed!
And actually a very entertaining and new way to experience this new album cycle where instead of passivly waiting for news to come out people were made active protagonist of the process.

TA was calling for this kind of treatment, it would have helped a lot to merge into the spirit of the album.

on the other hand though, that would tell me the following: they didn't do it leading into TA, but now they're doing it, so: DT14 will likely be a great album and they've "learned something" and are "applying it now". (I don't want this to come off as me sounding overly arrogant though, hence the "")

It seemed like they tried to do something for TA, though not as elaborate and interactive as the scavenger hunt.

In October 2015 their website changed to a sign-up list for either "The Ravenskill Rebel Militia", or "The Great Northern Empire of America".

In the end, either Ahrys or Nafaryus sent us I think 3 emails total between October to January. I thought we'd get more, but that's okay.

Throughout those months, they also had a website that revealed one new character per week, as well as a small chunk of the track list. That weekly anticipation was amazing, especially when it was revealed that there was an ACT 1 and ACT 2, which all but confirmed it would be a double album.

Yeah, the best part was seeing the tracklist growing on and on.

"Five tracks... well, maybe the third three are the classic combo intro + instrumental + first song, there's of course more"

"Eleven songs... yeah, that's more like it"

"TWENTY SONGS? OMFG"

That was great to witness in real time!

We still got nothing :-[ Getting a little impatient here.
It sounds like, "ruk, ruk, ruk, ruk, ruk." Instead of the more pleasing kick drum sound of, "gzarruk, gzarruk, gzarruk, gzarruk."

Keep in mind that this will most likely lead to official news (let’s say artwork+tracklist+release date and info about tour?) so all need to be coordinated between band, label and management.
That’s why it’s not all up to “Freddy” and maybe things will be postponed to the beginning of the next week.

But Freddy wrote last Saturday: "The final puzzle will be given out next week" 🤔

That makes sense indeed.

Even though it would be nice if people would solve the last riddle, going "OMG OMG THIS IS THE ALBUM TITLE" or the equivalent of it, and only after a day or two the band would finally confirm it with a proper announcement: "As word of this is going around thanks to a treasure hunt, we're happy to confirm that indeed our new album is called like this  and will be released on this date"

Next question: watch the sparrow fall - for four seconds at a speed of 76.5 kilometers per hour. How far did it go?

So, so far we have 5 and 85.

And also 4 miles and then 4 seconds

The Silent Man
Breaking All Illusions
Pull Me Under

That's probably gonna be important
