So odd that just yesterday after maybe years I was checking out their stuff and going on wiki. Crazy to read about this today. A band I've always had a soft spot for and sorta followed them loosely. RIP.

Not a fan but that a woman and an artist should just suddenly die at not even 50 is beyond sad.
I use my sig to pimp some bands from Italy! Check out Elvenking (Power / Folk metal), Folkstone (Rock / Medieval metal), Arcana Opera (Gothic/Noir/Heavy metal) and the beautiful voice of Elisa!

Always been a casual fan. Have all of the hits. I love Zombie. Her voice is an acquired taste with the heavy Irish-ness of it.

Way too young to go. Just reminds me of how old I am getting as I see artists/hero's/etc start falling with regularity.

Pardon the interruption, but I just had to run in and celebrate the majesty of Lube in the Face as highest moment in roulette history

I agree on "acquired taste", but as one who has acquired it, I was always impressed by her talent and vision.  Not my favorite band ever (I have the first three or four albums I think and that's it) but a ton of respect, and of course it's sad that she didn't even see "50".

Wow 46, terrible.  Was never a fan but she had an interesting and unique voice and they did have some good radio songs.  RIP.

Oddly I love her solo albums more than Cranberries. Are You Listening? is just a great alternative rock album that I listen time to time.

RIP.

Yeah, this one stung. Feel like pulling on some flannel and Doc Martins and dancing around to “Dreams.”

I didn't know this happened, but the Cranberries kept coming up on my iPod on the drive to work this morning.

I persoanllly love Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can't We?. I love the production of it, the playing, everything. It's got a lot of great tracks on it that sadly Linger overshadowed. I love Linger too, don't get me wrong, but there are a lot of great tracks on that album other than what everybody knows from the Cranberries...

RIP  :(

That’s what I’m saying. It’s incredibly weird, and kinda eerie.

Not a fan at all, really, but that album that had Zombie on it was quite interesting. I remember being at a party or somewhere and it was playing.

46 is too damn young.
would have thought the same thing but seeing the OP was TAC i immediately thought Maiden or DT related
Winger Theater Forums........or WTF.  ;D
TAC got a higher score than me in the electronic round? Honestly, can I just drop out now? :lol

I wasn't a fan back when they were all over MTV and alternative radio, but in the past few years my thoughts had softened. (Background:  I didn't like Zombie when it was a hit, but I totally love the song now) That said, Dolores was only a year younger than me. 46 is just too young. May she RIP, and sincerest condolences to her fans, friends, and family.
