stadler doesn't like anything released after the year 1990 he doesn't count

I like Pearl Jam.   :)

So do I.  See, you should listen to the rest of the songs in this round with me.

Well, you have to live with yourself for that.

I'll settle for final results

I've decided not to send Rhapsody at all, just because I know Lethean won't like any of it. Makes me sad but oh well  :loser:

Really?  In their entire catalogue there's not a single song that I would like?

I think there is but I'd rather not waste a roulette round on it because I still have other stuff I think you'll enjoy much more; I would much rather have you hear an entire album honestly.

Ok, some thoughts.  I feel like much of what I have to say on some of these tracks would give away which song it is, let's try this:

1.   :)  :metal  :)  :metal  :) :metal
2.   This track makes me want to take a second look at this band.
3.   Some of the musicians on this track - :hefdaddy
4.   So, um, OK… ?
5.   This track reminds me of that Skussgjá track, even though it doesn't sound like it at all.
6.    :metal :metal :metal :metal :metal
7.   I almost want to say this singer is in the wrong genre of music, but that's probably ridiculous.  It's just that I don't like their voice.
8.   This is a really nice track that puts me in a good, relaxed mood.
9.   I feel like this band would fit right in on that Leprous and Agent Fresco tour.
10.   I both like and dislike the singer in the track.

Hey, I've listened to almost 40 albums in the last year by 5 bands you love, AND I played Aqua this week. YOU owe ME  :rollin

I hope mine is #1. Doubt it but I hope that song went over well at the very least.

Yeah, but those bands were all good, and you don't think a single Rhapsody song is good enough for this roulette, so...
We already had that Aqua - headphone deal in place - but maybe I could be convinced to switch it out for a different album instead.  Hmm...

I know mine isn't #7 or 10. I doubt it's #2, 3, 5, or 9. It's probably 4, but that's could possibly be Converge. I guess that means I'm 1, 6, or 8.... :corn

Let's see... 19 Rush albums, 12 Fates Warning albums, 8 Threshold albums, the whole Vanden Plas discography or just some?  probably 3 Leprous? Unless you've heard a couple more.  Not sure how far you've gone with Katatonia.  Oh yeah, Bittencourt Project.  So... you're welcome. :)

And I bought every Rush album (sans Feedback), 1 Fates Warning so far, 1 Vanden Plas (out of the 3 I've heard), and Coal is on my next-to-order list (out of the 3 I've heard). I own 2 Katatonia albums but don't like them enough to dive into their back catalogue yet (too depressing too often). And I bought Bittencourt earlier this year. And I listened to 10 in my roulette! Listen to something I suggest, dang it    :lol

... or not, I found good music either way

I'm just giving you shit - you don't have to listen to Rhapsody if you don't want to lol

:lol   You weren't. :)  What's the other Katatonia album besides The Fall of Hearts, by the way?

The roulette doesn't count - you listened to 10 albums by everyone there.

Now, to the rest, this is a very interesting philosophical conversation.  You seem to think that I owe you and that you were doing me a favor by listening to all those albums, and that's fair enough...  However - your friend listening to a band you like vs not listening to a band you like - it kinda sucks if they don't, but sometimes that's the way it goes.  Compare that to: you dwelling in darkness with no Rush for your entire existence vs stepping into the available light and having the rest of your life immeasurably improved because of albums like Power Windows and Stadler's personal favorite, Grace Under Pressure.... well, I again say you're welcome, and who's done who the favor?  ;)

In all seriousness, of course I will listen to a Rhapsody album.
