So I was eager to join this roulette because anyone that has Armored Saint on the Banned List has to be cool. Except that Lethean has informed me that Armored Saint is banned because he doesn't like them.

As for Armored Saint, someone needs to read better.  They're not banned because I don't like them.  I neither like nor dislike them.  I bought some albums to prepare for them playing ProgPower.  Because I have heard more than one full album, they are banned.  I thought they put on a good, high energy set.  But I never got into the albums.

Nah.  His point still remains though; if he wanted to join because he thought I was a fan, he was disappointed to learn otherwise.  But for me, they aren't banned because of a distaste for them, unlike say, Jorn Lande.  My dislike for his voice also extends to David Coverdale, do consider him banned too.

Good point.  I probably only implied, but didn't really explain in the OP:  Everything on the banned list are bands with albums I've heard. (Almost all of which I own unless there's a d, but there might be an exception).  If it's something with an x, I only have one album so  I'm allowing those.  So I've heard multiple Armored Saint albums, but the reason I have is because of PP, not because I knew about them back when Joey Vera had long hair.

It's all good! I can't stand Jawn either.

Joey Vera has really done great for himself. Even on the old Armored Saint albums, his bass playing really stood out. I saw them a number of times, and I always thought he was excellent.

To be honest, I had a really hard time picking just one song from that album. It all flows so well and it's a top 20 album of all time for me. I also almost went with The Zookeeper's Bow or White Lips Kissed or Why Are You Looking Grave. It's really an album that should be listened to as a whole...
